ShowOps

A bilingual operating system for independent used-car showrooms in Oman, bringing stock, leads, deals, payments and the daily close into one place.

The problem

ShowOps is aimed at showrooms that track stock, buyer enquiries and payments across spreadsheets, WhatsApp chats and paper. In that setup it is hard to know which cars are really available, who owns each follow-up, and how each branch is performing.

What was built

We built a dealer-internal, multi-tenant web application rather than a consumer marketplace. A daily queue surfaces blockers, approvals and follow-ups; branch-aware inventory tracks aging, reconditioning and transfers; and leads move into a deal pipeline with manager approvals. Smart Import uses AI to turn an existing Excel stock sheet into inventory that staff review before import, while bilingual invoices, consent records and VAT options, including the used-car margin scheme, sit in the same workflow.

Where it stands

ShowOps is deployed at showops.omajan.com and in active development, currently in a controlled pilot phase. We will publish setup times, adoption or savings figures only after measuring them with real showrooms.
