Problem
Independent used-car showrooms often run a money-handling, multi-branch operation across spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads and paper documents. Stock becomes difficult to trust, follow-ups disappear, two people can act on the same car, and the owner cannot see branch or per-car performance without reconciling several files. Generic dealer software rarely starts with the Omani operating reality: Arabic invoices, PDPL consent and the VAT treatment of used cars.
Approach
We built ShowOps as a dealer-internal operating system rather than a marketplace. The daily queue brings stock, leads, deals, money and close-out work into one view. Multi-branch inventory tracks aging, preparation and transfers; lead and deal pipelines preserve ownership and next actions; manager gates protect discounts and deal completion. Smart Import turns a real showroom spreadsheet into reviewed inventory, while bilingual invoices, consent records and configurable VAT workflows keep local operating requirements inside the same system. Setup and support are deliberately WhatsApp-first.
Outcome
ShowOps is live at showops.omajan.com as Basira's flagship vertical-software product. It gives us a real proving ground for the work we sell to clients: turning messy operational data into a dependable workflow, earning adoption from non-technical teams, designing around Oman-specific rules, and keeping a multi-tenant product understandable as its capabilities grow.
